High blood pressure is known as the “silent killer” because it rarely causes symptoms, yet inflicts serious damage to the body. Left untreated, it can lead to a heart attack, stroke, or other potentially fatal conditions.
Join us on Monday, March 20, at 10 a.m. in the Olmsted Center, Rooms 310/311, to find out what your blood pressure numbers mean, ways to reduce your risk, and more. Heart healthy snacks will be provided, and all attendees will have an opportunity after the presentation to have their blood pressure checked. Presentation and BP checks will be provided by the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Please contact Linda Feiden at linda.feiden@drake.edu to register for this presentation. You will earn one BUILD credit for attending.
