Handshake is Drake’s online career platform, featuring thousands of internships and jobs. It is also the place to register for Career Fairs and other campus career events. All Drake students receive free access to Handshake using their Drake email and password – we encourage all students to claim their account today, if they haven’t yet!

• Update your profile and career interests to receive the most tailored opportunities. Check out this quick video from Handshake with tips on How to fill out your Handshake profile. 
• You can now autofill your profile from your resume, if you upload your resume to the documents tab. 
• New feature: Resume Optimizer – upload your resume and get feedback to tailor it for specific jobs. Follow Handshake’s optimizer with a meeting with your career services advisor. Note: Resume Optimizer is an optional feature – you can still upload your resume to documents without having it go through the optimizer. 
• Get too many emails? Update your notifications 
• While Handshake has AI features, Handshake does NOT sell student data to any third parties and does NOT use student data to train any third party models. Information is protected to the highest compliance standards – more info.
