The Drake Finance program presents Finance Night: Finance as a Force for Good Tuesday, Nov. 2, from 5–8 p.m. in the Olmsted Center, Parents Hall South. The keynote speaker for the event is Mr. David Reiling, chief executive officer, Sunrise Banks. The event is free and open to the public.
Mr. Reiling will join us virtually to discuss the role fintech plays in helping Sunrise Bank achieve its financial and social impact goals and how Sunrise has risen to become the world’s most socially responsible bank.
Mr. Reiling is an innovator in community development finance and financial inclusion. Under his leadership, Sunrise Banks became the first Minnesota bank certified as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), a certified B-Corp, a legal Benefit Corporation, and a member of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV).
In addition to his work in the Twin Cities, he serves as chair of the GABV, a network of banks around the world using finance to deliver sustainable economic, social and environmental development.
