Several department and organizational moves will take place following the opening of the new STEM@DRAKE buildings. Drake International, Community Engagement, and Adult Literacy will move to the former Ray Center. Drake Online will be located in Carnegie Hall. The former School of Education building will house Human Resources, The Ray Society, and I Have a Dream; Howard Hall will be the new home to Continuing Education and Professional Development (formerly known as Extension Education). All of these moves and space improvements are anticipated to be complete by Oct. 1. Review this diagram to see the new location of each group.
For several months, the Facilities Planning and Management Team has been working closely with the groups involved to ensure that all of the relocations support and enhance our programs at Drake. A lot will be happening in the next two months to get these spaces ready for their new occupants. The facilities team wants to thank all of the groups they have worked with for their insight and willingness to share their departmental vision for the future. It has been an opportunity for the team to learn more about how they can better partner and serve their fellow Bulldogs.

Drake University Head Start will continue to be located at 3206 University but will move up from the basement to the first floor. The Head Start team appreciates the work that Facilities has done to assist in the relocation process.
