Become A Peer Tutor

The Office of Access & Success is currently hiring paid peer tutors for Spring 2027 in accounting, general chemistry, Spanish, economics, and actuarial science.

Peer tutors play an important role in supporting student success by helping their peers build confidence, strengthen course understanding, and develop effective study strategies. Tutoring is also a great opportunity to gain leadership, communication, and professional experience while making a meaningful impact on fellow students.

Students interested in becoming a tutor should have strong content knowledge in their subject area, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a genuine interest in helping others learn.

Applications are open through Handshake and will be accepted through Nov. 1, 2026.

If you enjoy helping others succeed and are looking for a rewarding campus leadership opportunity, we encourage you to apply.

For additional information and application details, visit Handshake or contact the Office of Access & Success.
