Drake professors Chris Porter, director of Drake’s artificial intelligence program and associate professor of computer science, and Chris Snider, associate professor of journalism and mass communication, will host a free virtual Zoom event on Aug. 25 from noon to 1 p.m. to highlight recent breakthroughs in generative AI technology and offer insights into how these tools are shaping communication, education, business, and creative work.
