Below are some reminders pertaining to campus mail deliveries.
Bulldog Bucks: A new functionality allows you to mail packages and letters by paying for postage with your Bulldog Bucks account. Funds can be added to your Bulldog Bucks account at any time through the myDrake portal. Current USPS postage rates can be viewed online if you would like an estimate on what your mail piece might cost.
Shipping/mailing addresses: Residence Hall mail should be sent to the individual hall addresses, not to the main University address. Each Residence Hall address is listed below. Make sure to update your address over the summer and when you move to a different hall so you don’t miss important mail. Mail and packages are not forwarded to residents over the summer, they are returned to sender.

UPS/FedEx Outgoing Packages: There are two UPS drop boxes that get checked daily on campus. One is near Olmsted, the other near Old Main. Feel free to leave any small, pre-paid packages in those drop boxes for evening pickup by UPS. If your box is too large for the box, you may take it to the mailroom. UPS stops at the mailroom each morning, and FedEx is on campus regularly (daily pickup is NOT guaranteed, but we will get it out as soon as possible).
Fall mail delivery: Keep in mind that mail does not get delivered to Residence Hall addresses until Monday, Aug. 19, for the fall semester. Please wait until after this date to send mail to the halls — packages should be sent to your home address prior to this date. Also, note that Ross Hall will be offline for the 2019–2020 school year. Any mail sent to Ross will be returned to sender.
Thank you for your help in getting packages delivered correctly. If you have any questions or concerns about Residence Hall mail, feel free to contact housing@drake.edu. If you have questions or concerns about regular campus mail, contact campusmailoperations@drake.edu.
