Become an IMAC and work with international students

Want to welcome the world to Drake? Become an IMAC and serve as a mentor for incoming international students.

Every semester, new students come to Drake from all around the world. You can help shape their first impressions of Drake and the United States. The IMAC program by Drake Mosaic and Drake International is a great way to gain international experience in the United States and make lasting friendships with people from all over the world.

An IMAC is a student who is passionate about supporting their peers and passing along their knowledge to others. IMACs acts as a resource and a helpful connection for new international students starting at Drake. IMACs are generally paired with a small group of students for each orientation season (January and August).

Apply now. The deadline to apply is Nov. 5. Applicants will be asked to attend a 30-minute interview after the application deadline, and selections will be made by Thanksgiving week.
