The Drake football team will play at Iowa State on Saturday, Dec. 1, to complete the 2018 season. The Bulldogs and Cyclones kickoff at 11 a.m. at Jack Trice Stadium in what will be the first meeting between the two programs since 1985. The Cyclones will be Drake’s 11th opponent of the season after both teams’ Sept. 1 season openers were canceled due to severe weather.
Ticketing for the game:
The only way to ensure your seating with Drake fans in the Drake section is by ordering through the Drake Athletics Ticket Office (515-271-3647 or draketix.com). Tickets are limited and the order deadline is 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29. All tickets are $30. Drake students will receive priority seating together within the Drake section. Please visit the Knapp Center Ticket Office with valid Drake card to purchase tickets. Tickets can be picked up at visiting team will call, located at Gate 4.
Iowa State has implemented a clear bag policy at all ticketed events for the 2018-19 season. Most purses and bags will not be allowed in the stadium. The following bag types are allowed: plastic, vinyl, or PVC clear totes that do not exceed 12x6x12 inches; one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags; small clutch bags no larger than 4.5×6.5. Exceptions will be made for bags containing items required for medical, family, or child care. Find more information.
Pregame Drake Fan Hangout:
Drake Athletics has reserved space from 8:30-10:30 a.m. for fans to gather in the Iowa State Alumni Center Uelner Executive Room located on the third floor. A catered breakfast from the Alumni Center will be available first-come, first-served for $12 per person. The breakfast consists of two slices of breakfast pizza, a cinnamon roll, a fruit cup, and beverages. Additionally, a cash bar will be available offering beer, liquor, wine, soda, bottled water, and coffee for purchase.
No RSVP is necessary to attend. The Iowa State Alumni Center is located at 420 Beach Ave on the west side of the parking lots directly north of Jack Trice Stadium (near lots A2 and A3). View map.

A few key tailgating policies to consider, in addition to the full list at the link:
– Tailgating is limited to one parking space – one parking space per pass will be strictly enforced.
– Lots open at 7 a.m. and are first come, first served
– Glass bottles, kegs, and open fires are not allowed
– Patrons under 21 years of age are strictly prohibited from using alcoholic beverage on university property.
