50 years ago, the Supreme Court invalidated laws prohibiting interracial marriage in Loving v. Virginia. Today at 4:30 p.m., hear about legal issues in Loving and current civil rights issues and legislation. At 5 p.m. the acclaimed 2011 documentary The Loving Story will be shown with a discussion to follow. The event will take place in Cartwright Hall, Room 213. Food will be served.
